Battlefield: Bad Company assembles a ragtag group of insubordinate soldiers into the 222nd Army battalion, notoriously known as the B-Company. This group of misfits and screw-ups decides the war with Russia isn't worth their time and decides to break away from the rest of the armed forces to pursue a stockpile of gold hidden deep in enemy territory. Players take control of the newest soldier in the field of Bad Company, Preston Marlowe, who, under the command of Sergeant Redford, must survive the long trek to the war spoils, be it from Russian gunfire or his companions' clashing personalities.
