Assault Class

Weapons: Assault Rifle , Assault Rifle-attached Grenade Launcher.

Gadgets: Grenade, Auto-Injector (Unlock through rank credits)

Pros

  • Medium Range Assault Rifle works great at almost any range
  • Grenade Launcher provides some defense against vehicles and is great at opening up new doors, especially when attacking
  • Weapons are on the light side, so you sprint fairly quickly
  • Auto-Injector heals you when used, very handy if you don't take one-hit deaths, although the healing will stop if scathed by a single bullet

Cons

  • You will be destroyed at close ranges against Demolition class players (see for class info below)
  • Open to sniper shots, rocket launcher shots and other long range projectiles
  • Grenade Launcher = Reload Time > Effectiveness

Demolition Class

Weapons: Pump-action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher

Gadgets: Grenades, Anti-Tank Mine (unlock through rank credits)

Pros

  • Shotgun absolutely destroys the enemy's at a close distance.
  • Shotgun mows down any camper who protects a Gold Crate in Gold Rush mode.
  • Anti-Tank Mine is a great Tank-only defense for the on-the-go always moving player. You can defend your base (or attack other bases) while multi-tasking with your other weapons.
  • Sheer strength, no soldier should ever get close to you...

Cons

  • ...no range, so no one ever gets close to you.
  • Very slow reload times (especially for the Rocket Launcher).
  • If you miss a vehicle or cluster of soldiers, you give away your position, and you will soon be seen running your your life...
  • ...but you carry very heavy weapons, which means you sprint very slowly.
  • If you miss, almost every class has a better rate of fire than you, so you'll die.
  • You can Team Kill (-15 points) way to easily if they get in your line of fire, meaning you have to go alone. This means anyone can pick you off without anyone else to worry about. In most matches, going lone wolf doesn't help. It will most likely get you killed.
  • A trigger finger can mean a list of team kills due to sometimes hard to see tags above your friends heads.

Recon Class

Weapons: Sniper Rifle

Gadgets: Pistol, Grenade, Anti-Vehicle Laser (unlocked through rank credits)

Pros

  • Sniper Rifle has insane range, so you can dominate upon every single on-foot infantry unit.
  • Find some high ground and you'll be sure to be an anti-infantry killing machine.
  • Pistol to shoot at medium range people who are getting too close to your position. The pistol is surprisingly effective at near-mid ranges if you aim slightly above the torso (i.e: Neck or Head)
  • Some maps have grassy areas, where your grass camo actually comes in handy. Just dont move and youre very hard to spot.
  • Using the Anti-Vehicle laser you can lock onto targets and guide a missile from the air to the enemy target. Usually a one hit kill for 20 points.

Cons

  • No way to fight tanks except with the Anti-Vehicle laser or unless you somehow get to the top of the tank and shoot down the hatch
  • You're kinda screwed when your position is given away, the Pistol only does so much.
  • What is that giant piece of grass standing on high ground in a desert doing? Nuff said.
  • When you sprint, your grass makes shaking noises, giving away your position.
  • Short range shooting is god awful, because every other class has a better short range weapon than you.
  • Hard to hit moving targets due to delayed bullets, so incredible skill or stationary target is required.

Specialist Class

Weapons: Sub Machine Gun

Gadgets: Grenade, Remote Demolition Charge (unlock through rank credits)

Pros

  • Great medium range SMG with insane rate of fire.
  • Awesome tracking device that if combined with friendly RPGs can obliterate any tank in seconds.
  • Light SMG weapons mean that you can sprint faster than other infantry classes.
  • Should be used for sneaking behind enemy lines and taking the upper hand by exploiting enemy tanks and shooting unexpected troops in the back.
  • DTN-4 (C4) is very efficient against tanks blowing up your crate. Approach from a blind side and preferably so they dont run you over if they reverse and watch out for blowing yourself up. Can be used to destroy gold crates for 30 extra points for objective damage.

Cons

  • The entire point of tracking vehicles is pointless unless demolition troops are present.
  • Not very good range, but handling greatly increased if crouching and aiming.
  • No healing abilities.

Support Class

Weapons: Light Machine Gun

Gadgets: Frag Grenade, Power Tool (fixes vehicles), Healing Pack/Medic Kit (heals you and other units), MRTR-5 Mortar Strike (unlock through rank credits)

Pros

  • Good to have in any squad as their healing packs are better than auto-injectors!
  • The heavy weapon is good at medium range
  • Can take relatively large amounts of damage
  • Get extra points for healing teammates (+10) and repairing vehicles (+15)
  • Appear as flashing plus sign on mini-map so friends can come to you for health (and points).

Cons

  • Massive reload times
  • Not specialized against any type of enemy
