This is a list of how to score (and lose) points, and how much it gives you!
The point list is up to date with the Battlefield: Bad Company demo's multiplayer.
- Killed an Enemy: +10 Points
- Killed An Enemy, Headshot Bonus: +15 Points
- Kill Assist: +3 Points
- Headshot bonus +5 Points
- Squad Kill Assist: +6 Points
- Vehicle Passenger Kill Assist: +10 Points
- Saviour bonus +6 Points
- Team Kill: -15 Points
- Suicide: -10 Points
- Destroy Vehicle: +10 Points/ -10 Points if teammate was in it, plus -15 for Team Kill
- Kill Enemy in Vehicle: +10 Points
- Destroyed a Gold Crate: +30 Points
- Disarmed a Crate bomb charge: +10 Points
- Capture Flag Assist: +10 Points
- Capture Flag: +30 Points
Game Modes
Gold Rush
Gold Rush is a game mode that pits two teams against each other- Attackers and Defenders. Attackers launch an assault on a base being defended by Defenders. The objective for the Attackers are to destroy a pair of Gold Crates placed in a base building, using a charge or conventional weapons. The objective for Defenders is to- well, defend, and disarm charges. Defenders can win only by killing the Attackers and making the Attacker team's health bar run out. Players must work together to succeed, going lone wolf is not an option.
Conquest
Conquest is a new game mode now available for update for the PS3 and Download from the XBL Marketplace on the 360. The point of the game is to capture and control the other team's flags and reduce their team's tickets. Every kill takes away one of the opposing team's tickets and one flag taken under control takes away tickets. 4 maps are available to play on, with all being modified, Teamwork is a must in this game, just like gold rush. Going alone will get you killed, working as a team will get you kills.

Oasis
Desert map with a long strip of civilization and houses where the command posts run along. Vehicles play a vital role, in transportation and assault to weaken up the enemy houses where the gold crates are stationed. Many opportunities for flanking and a long strip of river where very quick boats can be used to launch surprise attacks on main concentrations of enemies with immense firepower.
Outpost
Farm One of the green areas of the map, where snipers can actually hide and survive at ground level.
Plantation Much like the farm, provides green coverage for players.
Streets
Close-quarters urban environment. Mainly a long thin street where almost everyone is exposed to vehicles and intense enemy fire if seen walking down the main street. Best bet is to run around the enemy and sneak your way in and plant the charge if attacking. Vehicles can be used to push squads back. Sniper is rendered useless as no one is stupid enough to expose themselves for any length of time.
