Use the Minimap!
The minimap is an invaluable tool as you're making your way through the single-player campaign. It becomes particularly handy when you're faced with a tough firefight against enemies using cover or enemies hiding behind obstructions. Oftentimes you won't be able to tell where an enemy's attacking from by sight alone, so check the minimap when you're unsure: enemies appear as red dots and can be easily hunted down this way.
Gold Rush: Attackers and Defenders Strategy
The best idea for defending is to split your team into three groups. The first group are the crate defenders and they should be using the Demolition class, they are the last line of defense and should be the ones who hold the attackers back while the rest of the team re-spawns. The second group should be on recon and should find a nice spot to camp at. The best places are spots with a clear shot onto anyone trying to plant a charge. On Oasis you can move to the other side of the river and still get a clear shot with the sniper rifle. Your final group will be using the assault class and are used as skirmishers to slow down any advancing soldiers and to harass any vehicles trying to get to the base. If you can get a few grenade hits onto a tank before it reaches the base then the Demo boys should be using their rockets for a one hit kill.
Attackers have to use all the weapons and vehicles at their disposal. The person on the artillery has a very important job which is to clear out the base while the rest of his team moves in and takes the base. The vehicles are the most important part of any team and good co-ordination an make or break a teams success. Always have two people in vehicles especially the tank which can easily be taken out by not having a man on the machine gun to kill any opponents trying to destroy it. Destroying the walls around the gold crates can allow easy access to the crates for your team and allow you to easily take out any defenders but it does allow defenders to take you out so be careful.
The Land is Mine! (Demolition Strategy)
Conquer the land by laying anti-tank landmines in common dirt roads and areas where tanks normally traverse through. On most maps, the terrain is sandy, so the bright yellow colors can provide cover up for your mines, so no one can see it. No one will dare come in a vehicle, since you dominate with a rocket launcher, and mines. You also destroy anyone who comes close to you, because you also have a shotgun. Perfect.
Kit Change (Assault Class and Other strategy)
Ever had a very low health count, but aren't the Assault class to carry the Auto-Injector? Well, before playing, unlock the Auto-Injector via rank credits, then play as Demolition class. Travel with an Assault class, so if he dies, you steal his kit, heal, then switch back.
This strategy can be done with any starting class, you just need an assault class kit.
This can also be done with the Support class if you happen to see a random kit lying about then all you need to do is quickly swap and chuck out a single health pack.
Run N' Gun Away (Recon Class strategy)
Shoot and move. Shooting someone gives away your position as the damage indicator clearly states what direction you are shooting from. If you don't want a squad of riflemen firing at you from mid range then get the hell out. Aim for the head so that they dont know where you shoot from. Also be aware that the bullets seem to be tracers that can be used to identify excactly where you are.
