Developer Room
Challenge Lavos at the start of the game with only Crono and Marle by stepping onto the right telepod at the Millennial Fair. Can only be attempted during a New Game+.
This is the most difficult--yet most rewarding--ending.
- Note: You'll have a better chance with this ending when you have collected the Rainbow Items from the previous playthrough (see the Sidequests page for more details), and that your level is in the high 80s-90s.
Frog's Wedding Ending
Defeat Lavos directly after rescuing Marle in 600 A.D., before returning her to the castle in 1000 A.D. You must use the right Telepod at the Millennial Fair for this, so you must be in a New Game+.
Nu, Ribbit, & Kilawa Comedy Routine Ending
Defeat Lavos after you arrive at the End of Time but before the fight at the Zenan Bridge.
Tata's Ending
Defeat Lavos after the fight at the Zenan Bridge but before you receive the Hero's Badge from Tata.
Montage Ending
Defeat Lavos after you have the Hero's Medal and the completed Masamune but before you become stranded in 65,000,000 B.C.
Photo Montage Ending
Defeat Lavos after you get the Gate Key from Azala in 65,000,000 B.C. but before you get Frog to rejoin the party.
Frog v. Magus Ending
Defeat Lavos after you get Frog back in your party, but before defeating Magus at his castle.
Reptite Ending
Defeat Lavos after you defeat Magus at his castle, but before you defeat Azala at the Tyrano Lair.
Magus v. Lavos Ending
Defeat Lavos after you defeat Azala but before you watch Schala open the Sealed Door in Zeal. You can also get this ending by defeating Lavos after Schala seals you out of Zeal but before you reach the Ocean Palace.
Marle and Lucca Boy Talk Ending
Defeat Lavos after you watch Schala open the Sealed Door in Zeal but before you power up Marle's pendant.
Dead Crono Ending
Defeat Lavos after Crono dies. This ending can be altered slightly by having Magus alive/dead or crashing/not crashing the Epoch into Lavos.
Official Ending
Defeat Lavos after reviving Crono. This ending can be altered slightly by crashing/not crashing the Epoch into Lavos.
Bad Ending
Challenge Lavos and lose. Not hard to do at all, actually.
