Unlike other Final Fantasy games, summons in Crisis Core are not called upon at will by the player. Instead, they appear randomly on the DMW.

Bahamut

  • Obtain by clearing Mission 8-1-4

Bahamut Neo

  • Obtain by clearing Mission 8-5-6

Cactuar

  • Obtain by defeating Cactuar in Mission 3-1-3, then clearing Mission 10-1-3

Cait Sith

  • Obtain by grabbing Cait Sith's Megaphone in a treasure chest in Mission 8-4-3

Chocobo

  • Found in a treasure chest in Mission 8-4-1

Ifrit

  • Obtain by clearing Mission 8-1-1

Magic Pot

  • Obtain by encountering the Magic Pot in battle in Mission 10-2-3 and using the following skills/magic on it when it asks for them: Jump, Fira, Gravity, and Assault Twister

Mog

  • Obtain by grabbing the Moogle's Charm from a chest near the entrance in Mission 8-4-4

Odin

  • Obtain by clearing Mission 8-1-6

Phoenix

  • In Chapter 9, in Nibelheim, speak to the boy in the central plaza, and then head to the nearby water tower. Climb the ladder and check it to obtain the Phoenix materia. NOTE: This is the only point in the game where you can obtain this, so don't miss it!

Tonberry

  • Obtain by defeating Tonberry in Mission 6-1-5, then clearing Mission 10-2-3
