Dark age of Camelot is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) published by Mythic Entertainment and since one year back developed by EA (Electronic Arts).
Dark age of Camelot was released on October 10, 2001 in the US. Dark age of Camelot was developed right after the MMORPG success period which held games like Everquest.But what differed with Dark Age of Camelot was the focus on PvP (Player vs. Player) and RvR (Realm vs. Realm) and is considered still to this day to be a game that has one of best PvP and RvR contents ever.

Realms
Dark age of Camelot consists of three factions. The British mythology inspired Albion. The Celtic mythology inspired Hibernia. The Norse mythology inspierd Midgard. These realms constantly fights against each other. As a Realm you fight for everyones gaining in that Realm, making one Realm weaker by capturing keeps and towers will unlock powers for your Realm only.
