Lost Planet is a 3rd-Person Shooter developed by Capcom. It features standard on-foot combat and gameplay as well as the ability to pilot robotic suits. Players face off against Space Pirates on a distant planet with extreme weather conditions as well an insect-like alien race called the Akrids.

An expansion for this game was released in 2008 under the name Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions: COLONIES.
