Some of the weapon achievements seem impossible at first, like using any weapon other than the Dragon Sword for the entire game. What they don't tell you is that after you beat the game on any difficulty, you'll be given the option to play again on that difficulty with all your items that you gathered during the previous playthrough. That way you're able to start with all the weapons and you can focus on any of them for the entire game.
