Rank 10
This level takes place at the Townsend Residence. When you save your game is this area, it will have that title. There is no way to get lost as the opening scenes of the game will transport you here.
Pre-Boss
When this level starts you'll have the opportunity to do a combat tutorial. The combat system can be somewhat confusing if you haven't played the game before, so the tutorial is recommended for your first playthrough.
Before you get to the main assassination you'll have to fight through waves of rather easy minions.
After you've defeated your first group of bad guys, you'll have to make your way through the mansion. There is only one direction to go, and the game requires you to kill all the enemies in an area before moving on to the next one.
Trading Cards 1 through 5 are located on this level. They are located in chests that you must break open.
Eventually you'll come to a hallway where you'll hear a cell phone ringing. Hold the Wii remote up to answer, and you'll hear a message coming from the it.
Just before the boss fight you'll see a wrestling mask. Pick it up to remember a wrestling move: the Front Neck Chancery Drop.
Boss: Death Metal
When he reaches half life he spawns 2 copies of himself. They have less life than the original, and should be attacked first. You can then go back to defeating the boss.
You'll have to recharge your beam katana at least once during the fight. When your katana's energy gets low, run away some and this will give you time to recharge it.
After the First Boss
A chest appears once you kill Death Metal; breaking it returns you to full health. You'll see a cut scene, then you'll be transported back to your apartment.
From here you can do a number of things:
| Closet | Change clothes |
| Bedroom drawer | Check weapons |
| Exit | Leave the apartment |
| Fridge | Heal |
| Map | See a map of Santa Destroy |
| Jeane | Play with your kitten |
| Toilet | Save game |
| Cards | See your trading cards |
| Telephone | Check messages |
| TV | Watch trailers and video content. After the Rank 4 fight, you can also play video games. |
Leave and go to the limo to see another cut scene, then you'll be able to explore Santa Destroy.
You'll be introduced to K-Entertainment where later in the game you'll be able to accept assassin side missions. But in order to get those missions, you'll have to prove yourself first. For now head over to the Job Center to pick up a Part-Time Job Mission.
One part time job will give you enough money to purchase the next main assassination. After you have the money, deposit it in the ATM. Then go back to your apartment and listen to your answering machine to start the mission.
Rank 9
- Cost to enter: $150,000
- Cards: 6 to 10
As usual, you'll have to fight through a horde of minor enemies before you get to the assassination target. Most of these are defeated in the normal manner, until you get to the baseball pitchers. They will throw a ball at you, and you must hit it, just like in a baseball game. To hit the ball, swing the katana like a baseball bat, just like in Wii Sports Baseball. If you hit the ball properly, you'll kill all the enemies in this room and open the exit.
Just before the boss, you'll then get another cell phone call. You'll also learn a new wresting move: the Reverse Armsault. Finally, there is a toilet, where you can save the game.
Boss: Dr. Peace
Cost to enter: $150,000 This fight takes place on a baseball field.
He fights with guns, and has a power shot attack that includes a push-back. You'll want to close the distance between the two of you and fight close-in. If he does push you back, you may want to take the time and pick up one of the extra health chests next to each dugout. You can also use the time to charge your beam katana.
To dodge the power shot, watch for the beams of light to start eminating from his body, then run or roll to the side a moment later. To block regular shots, lock on to him and press A repeatedly.
Rank 8
- Cost to enter: $200,000
- Cards: 11 to 15
Inside the school are some thugs with torches. If they light you on fire, run to the fire extinguisher (it's highlighted with a yellow arrow) and put out the fire.
You'll see a scene where one of the thugs sets off the sprinkler system. This causes your beam katana to shock you. Run forward to the sprinkler controls and shut off the sprinklers.
Mask: Captured
Boss: Shinobu
The key to this battle is dodging to the side using the D-pad when she attacks. You can tell she is about to use a super attack when she stands still for a moment and starts to shine. Dodge before she unleashes this attack.
If you stay too far away, she'll use a deadly sword wake ranged attack. Don't spend too much time at a distance if you can help it.
There is a health max in one of the corners.
Rank 7
- Cost to enter: $250,000
- Cards: 16 to 20
Mask: German Suplex
Boss: Destroyman
He has several attacks, but most of them require a charge up that lets you know to dodge. Whet you hear him yell out, get ready to dodge. These attacks include light beam (beams from his eyes) and light smash (hitting the ground and making a shockwave). He has an attack that shoots a very powerful beam from his belt: it takes longer to get this attack off, but it does a huge amount of damage. You can also avoid these attacks by standing behind any object, like a table or box.
Once you get him down to about half health, he'll fly up around the ceiling. You must then destroy the flashing alarms on the walls. One in particular will bring Destroyman back to the ground, so once you find it you don't need to bother with the others (unless you find the blaring alarm extremely irritating, a more than likely scenario). Once he crashes back down you can continue with the fight, using the same methods as before.
Rank 6
- Cost to Enter: $300,000
- Cards: 21 to 25
Before you start this mission, you'll want to stop by Nomi's and get a Beam Katana Accelerator. This will allow you to see the landmines buried in the sand.
The minor enemies on the beach have a different tactic than the ones you've faced before. These guys try to run away from you, then shoot you from a distance. Run up to them as quickly as you can. You can lock on to them and press A to block their shots.
Mask: Belly to Belly
Boss: Holly Summers
There are holes is the sand that Travis will fall into. You can't see or avoid a hole the first time you fall into it. You can crawl out of it by shaking the nunchuck, Wii remote, or hitting the A button repeatedly, depending on the situation. Once you've climbed out, you can see the hole you fell into and avoid it from then on.
High stance works much better than low stance in this fight, as most low blows won't even connect, so be sure to keep your Wii remote pointed up.
Rank 5
- Cost to enter: $350,000
- Cards: 26 to 30
The lead up to the boss is a long hallway. You'll see someone running ahead of you, but you can't catch or attack them. The minions here are much harder that the others you've faced before. They are armed with beam katanas and have much more life than other minions.
There is no pre-boss wresting mask on this level.
Boss: Letz Shake
In the cut scene before this fight starts, Letz Shake is killed by Henry. You don't have to fight anybody.
Rank 4
- Cost to enter: $350,000
- Cards: 31 to 35
- Wresting move: Double Arm Suplex
As usual you'll have to fight your way through waves of small enemies. You'll then have to hop on the subway train. Here Travis will fall asleep. You'll be prompted to remove the nunchuck from your Wii remote, and you'll get to play "Pure White Giant Glastonbury."
This mini-game is a little like "1942." You must beat this game to continue. When you're done, be sure to reconnect the nunchck to the Wii remote.
Boss: Harvey Moiseiwitsh Volodarskii
He'll disappear in a cloud of smoke, then reappear somewhere else. He'll then use one of his special attacks.
After you get him down to about half his life, he'll cause the screen to flip upside down for a few seconds.
At one quarter health, you'll see a scene where Travis gets placed inside a box. Follow the screen prompts to get out. The fight will continue.
Low stance works better than high stance.
Rank 3
- Cost to Enter: $450,000
- Cards: 36 to 40
Boss: Speed Buster
This isn't a normal boss fight. You'll find yourself on an empty street, with buildings on either side. At the end of the street is a beam cannon. It takes a moment to charge before it fires, so you can tell when you have to get out of the way. The blast takes up the whole street, so you'll have to take cover inside the buildings. Break down the door to get inside. You'll have to fight a few minor enemies inside some of the rooms. If the beam does hit you, it seems to lower your battery more than your health. The battle ends without a true one-on-one. On the left side of the street, you'll see some telephone poles. Navigate into the side rooms until you find a telephone pole that you can target and hit with your beam katana. It will appear to be inaccessible on the other side of a cracked wall, but you should be able to target it. Knocking it down starts a domino effect, disabling the beam cannon and allowing you to finish off Speed Buster.
You'll obtain the Japanese Katana, which you should give to Naomi.
Rank 2
- Cost to Enter: $500,000
- Cards: 41 to 45
When you get to the entrance marker, you have to jump over the barrier with your motorcycle. Head toward the barrier and follow the on screen prompt (flick the Wii remote up).
Once inside the stadium, you can defeat the thugs without getting off you bike. Just run them over.
If you stop, the thugs will catch up to you and knock you off your bike and you won't be able to get back on. It's far easier to kill them using your bike, so try to stay on it.
This level's new wresting move is the Double Wrist Armault.
Boss: Bad Girl
Bad Girl has almost perfect counters. You can't do any real damage with a direct attack, so you have to wait for her to attack first. This fight tends to be heavily defensive; it takes a long time to wear her down. You'll also spend a lot of time watching her prance around waiting for her to attack.
If you keep your distance while she's charging up her power attack, she won't attack at all.
As for your offensive strategy, run up next to her to get her to attack, quickly dodge, then counter with your own combo attack. If she starts to see stars, quickly hit the B button to perform a wrestling move on her.
If she runs next to the conveyor belt, she'll hurl one of her slaves at you. Dodge them, then attack and kill them. You can't hurt her while she's next to the conveyor belt, so don't even try.
She sometimes pretends to be injured. She'll sit on the ground and not really do anything. If she has both of her hands on her face, you can attack her. If she has one hand on her bat, she's faking injury. If you approach her when she's faking, you'll see a cut scene where she kills Travis. Needless to say, stay away from her when she does this. If you can't tell if it's safe to attack, keep your distance.
Rank 1
- Cost to Enter: $550,000
- Cards: 46 to 50
This mission starts off with you getting your bike stolen. Chase after it, dodging the boxes on the road and the firebombs being dropped by the bikers. Soon you'll be out in a more rural area, so jump over the fallen trees by jumping (jerking the Wii remote up). At the draw bridge, wait until your speedometer rises, then hit the Z-Trigger when prompted to clear the gap.
You'll now be in a section of forest where you must take a certain route to escape it; otherwise you'll be stuck in an endless loop. Watch for Thunder Ryu's spirit to guide your way to the exit, which is Right, Left, Right, and Left again.
Boss: Darkstar/Jeane
Darkstar will be defeated by Jeane before you can even land a blow. You'll then have to take Jeane on instead. She moves incredibly fast and uses charge attacks after almost every combo, so watch out for them and roll away to safety when you see them coming. Stay close to Jeane by Z-Targeting her, wait for her to throw a thrust punch (whihc is preceded by a long shout), dodge, then counter with your own attack. She'll dodge your attacks otherwise. As you continue to chip her health bar down, the size of the battle arena will shrink. Watch for the shockwave attack she starts using later in the battle and dodge it accordingly. Just keep up this pattern to defeat her. One note: if you manage to daze Jeane, do not attempt to perform a wrestling move on her, as she will inflict considerable damage upon you for trying.
Endgame
You'll have three options now.
- Return to town.
- Watch the ending and credits.
- Fight the true final boss and watch the extended ending.
In order to achieve the extended ending, you'll have to have purchased all three of the katanas from Naomi. If you haven't done so, go to her shop now and snatch them up. You'll then have to face Henry, for real this time...
Final Boss: Henry
Henry will boggle your mind with his lightning-fast moves and endless combo attacks. His charge attack can either a.) shoot an energy sphere at you, b.) unleash a spinning attack, or c.) perform a thrust attack if you get near him. Obviously, dodge all three (the backwards roll works best), and counter with your own attack after any of his sword thrusts. Another thing to watch out for is your own combos: don't string them out too long, or Henry will break away from them and start pounding on you. Henry also has an instant-kill attack that is initiated halfway through the battle. You can see it coming when he crouches and holds his sword horizontally. Avoid certain death by running left or right until the attack has passed. Other than that, don't get caught by the stairs, because you'll need plenty of moving room in order to stay alive in this fight. Use the pattern of getting close to Henry, waiting for him to perform a charge attack, dodging it, then counterattacking briefly. Rinse and repeat.
The true, extended ending is now available to you, so enjoy the bizarre twists as the story wraps up.
