Wiimote as a Brush

It's not as easy as one would think to use the Wiimote as your Celestial Brush. One thing to note when starting Okami, is that the game seems to like quick thin brush strokes. The faster to whip the brush stroke across the screen for something like the Power Slash the better the odds are that it will register. Most of the action techniques follow this same method. A quick, ugly looking circle that simply connects both ends will register better than a slow perfect one. It takes a little getting used to but in time you will see what the game is looking for in your techniques.
