Prologue: A Rogue's Welcome

You get here by boat. Go forward and you'll see a girl Goomba being attacked. Go up to them and your first battle begins.
sewers and pipes
Through out the game there will be many times that you will go into the sewers. Sometimes you will be there because you have to be, and other times because you want to be. The ways you can enter the sewers are: the first pipe by the old goomba's, turning sideways and falling through a drain in th farthest west screen of rouge port, and, later in the game, going into pipes that spring up in prevoius areas. The 2 main reasons you will be in the sewers are to get the magical map and open the the star door. But you may want to go to the pit of 100 trials!! What is the pit of 100 trials you ask? well if you go west from the big star door room you will come across a pipe that leads you down through 100 battles of easy to difficult battles. Every 10 levels you will get a badge/prize(tresure chest) at the 100 level you fight bonetail, brother of the redtail and easily the hardest boss in the game, now i don't know what you get from beating him but i have heard its good. All in all that is the only real secret you will find in the sewers, sad by comparison to paper mario 1, and its not a very fun secret either about have the things in the tresure chest are worth it and its boring and tedious. You cant leave the the pit and come back to the same spot that you left at. You have to finish it all in one session! This means an hour and a half with no health blocks and a challenging boss fight.
