S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is the sequel and stand-alone prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. The game again takes the player back to radioactive Zone about 30km around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This time around, the Zone has even more tricks up its sleeve;The player will encounter even deadlier anomalies and improved enemy AI to challenge the player at every turn. The atmosphere from last game is preserved, with an air of fear and the unknown throughout the game. Players will now have to deal with emission events that send you running for cover when you least expect it. The areas of the game are a 50/50 mix of old and new, with the old areas given a fresh coat of paint. The graphics are outstanding and the renderer now utilizes DX10 rendering that gives the environment a realistic and captivating look. With its large variety of weapons, improved and more challenging gameplay, and the new faction wars system, new and old players alike will not be disappointed by S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.
