About
Once known as Aeon Calcos, a great spartan warrior in his human form. Aeon was one of 24 warriors who received an oracle from the god Hephaestus, Sophitia was another one. They were to set out and destroy the Soul Edge. His quest almost ended early when he nearly died of dehydration while crossing a desert. Luckily, a group of travelers stumbled onto him and brought him to their village where they nursed him back to health. Aeon then agreed to repay them by teaching them the art of the sword when suddenly the Evil Seed rained down on them. Driven to madness on the spot, Aeon quickly slaughtered the entire village.
Aeon was soon captured by the cult Fygul Cestemus, where the head priest performed experiments on him. He was transformed into the first of many Lizardmen. The priest had also brainwashed Aeon in the process and his first mission in his new lizard form was to kidnap Rock's son. Aeon was helping Astaroth when Rock caught with them and defeated Aeon.
After a clash of the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, Aeon was freed of his masters command but not of his inhuman form. He felt betrayed by the gods. He was faithful to them, doing what they had asked and this is how they would repay him? Aeon, for the first time in a long while, made his own choice. He was going to find the Soul Edge sword and then use it to kill the very god that sent him on his quest. As time past and people died by his blade, the name Aeon seemed to fade from his mind. He has become more beast like than human, he has become Lizardman.
Unlock Lizardman at the character creation screen for 4,000 gold.
Tactics
Lizardman is really at home in close range combat. You can easily flow into a variety of attacks at this range that will keep your opponents guessing. He also deals out some solid damage from combos so be sure to learn and master them. He is a bit on the slow side however. He is also larger than a lot of characters which makes him more vulnerable to combos. Lizardman is also extremely weak at long range fighting. Anytime there is distance between you and the enemy, Lizardman needs to close the distance quickly and get in to where he can deal some real damage.
