Defeating Rancors, AT-STs, and Junk Giants
Every now and again, you'll come across a much larger enemy, which vary a lot, but the attack strategy should be the same. If you have lightning, use that to stun them, then jump up and cut them in the air. You can get over 50% of their health down in one jump if you just keep attacking. Most of these large creatures have ground attacks, but some have air attacks, and if so, just make sure to stun them with your lightning.
When bosses and mini-bosses are nearly dead, you'll be given a series of buttons to push (a quick time event). If you press them correctly you'll kill the boss. If you don't you'll have to either do it again, or kill them in the standard way of attacking until their health is gone. Some bosses can't be killed regularly, but only by quick time event.
Environmental Puzzles
If you get stuck, the answer is always USE THE FORCE. All the obstacles in the game are removed by using the Force in some way. If you see an object that is flashing blue, that's a hint that you have to use that object in some way. Usually you must use Force grab, Force push, or Force lightning on it.
Ledges
Pushing an enemy off a ledge is a quick and easy way to get rid of them. Force push is the fastest way to do it, but you can also pick them up and drop them into an abyss. Be aware that your enemies may try to use melee attacks to to push you off a ledge, so don't fight with your back to a drop. For this same reason, avoid fighting on bridges whenever possible.
Another common cause of death is accidentally stepping off a ledge while you're using a lightsaber combo on an enemy. While you're attacking your character will automatically walk forward if the enemy you're attacking is backing up. Sometimes this causes you to walk right off a ledge. If an enemy is between you and a ledge, use Force push instead of your lightsaber.
Secret Scenes
If you played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic in Xbox360, you'll see two small scenes, Darth Vader teaching the Starkiller, scenes are short and fun. In the PS3 they are released as extras.
Experience Bonuses
Although you could go through the game using just your lightsaber and Force Lightning, you'll gain more experience for killing enemies with Force Powers.
