Then quickly find the highest perch to stand on as it rises. If you have Fire Power you should shoot that Big Fish whenever you can (he will always return). You will find a Koopa on a platform in between some blocks. Either use his shell or use the Silver Block to kick the top block to the left. A P-Switch will pop out. Hit the switch and run like hell. If you reach the final pipe and still have Fire Power, use it to take out the Big Fish then quickly swim further to the right for a 1 Up Mushroom. Wait for the Big Fish to return then kill it again and quickly swim back to the left and hop into the pipe.

Level 3 Fortress

There is a Vine in the higher formation in the top left block. Climb the Vine to the clouds. On your left you'll find a bunch of coins and a useless P-Switch. Forget the switch and head back to the Vine Stand on the top of it and jump to the right. Float right and find another cloud platform. Jump up in the middle to hit an invisible Pink Music Block. Not much to do here except dodge canon fire and bombs. It will probably take a couple tries.

Level 8 Battleships

This is a bit easier than the Tank. If you are fast enough, you can swim underneath the second two ships and avoid the all out war on the deck of the ship.

Level 8 Hand Trap 1

Defeat a bunch of different Hammer Bros and you've scored yourself a Super Leaf.

Level 8 Hand Trap 2

This is the easiest of the traps. It's just some simple platform jumping. If you have made it to this point it should be a piece of cake and it’ll score you a Super Leaf.

Level 8 Hand Trap 3

Here, you have to do some pretty simple jumping and landing but you have to deal with Jumping Fish the whole time. If you keep moving and don't stop they shouldn't pose much of a threat to you and you'll get a Super Leaf.

Level 8 Airships

Good luck. This level is unbelievably tough. If you have a P-Wing, use it.

Level 8-1

At the very start of the level, get some speed and fly straight up. You'll find a P-Switch that will reveal a bunch of Silver Coins. Later on, you'll find a large gap with a Music Note Block on the edge of the ledge. Get a running start and jump on top of the ‘’Music Note Block’’ and launch yourself over the gap (keep holding right).

Level 8-2

Jump into the quicksand and let yourself sink below. This is a Secret Room. The pipe to the left leads to a Power-Up (Mushroom/Super Leaf) and the one to the right some coinage. They will both spit you out near the end of the level. Don't slide down the giant hill, instead run down so you get enough speed to fly and fly over the large gap at the end. If not, you'll have to do some tricky Music Note Block platforming, which is never that easy.

Level 8 Fortress

It might be easier to simply watch the Video Walkthrough. But I'll do my best to put this maze of a place into words. Go all the way to the right. Go into the door surrounded by blocks. Be careful! The door opens to a conveyor belt that wants to carry you into the lava on either side of you. Quickly jump to the right and go into the first door there. Head to the right, that block is a 1 Up Mushroom if you want it. Continue to the right; watch out for all the Thwomps. Go into the door at the top of the staircase. Again, you'll immediately be placed onto a conveyor belt. Let the top one carry you to the left and drop the bottom belt. Now run to the right and jump to the platform on the right. Enter that door on the platform. Head to the right, hit the P-Switch and run to the right as fast as you can. Enter the door at the end. Hurry to the right, you'll see two coins; you want to fall through the one on the left. When the switch wears off the other coin will turn into a block again. Hit it to reveal another P-Switch. Activate that P-Switch and run to the far right to find a door that last door. Through the door you'll drop to the conveyor belt floor below. Hold Down so that you will duck under the spikes. Let the belt carry you to the right under the spikes while you remain ducking. Now, you'll have to fight the Mini-Boss on the conveyor belt. Good luck.

Level 8 Super Tank

It may have more canon balls shooting at you, but it's not as long as the previous auto-scrolling-death-dealing levels of this world.

Level 8 Bowser's Castle

Run to the right as fast as you can, don't stop, just keep running and you will avoid the lasers from the Bowser Statues. Head up the stairs, stand under the gap in the ceiling and a platform will appear and carry you upwards. At the top jump off to the right. At the end of the passage, stand on the single Donut Lift. As it falls, hold Right to run off the falling Donut Light right before you would be met with certain death. Head right and make your way up the stairs avoiding the Roto-Discs along the way. Before descending the other side of the stairs, jump up along the right wall to reveal an invisible block with a 1 Up Mushroom inside. Head down the stairs and into the large room littered with Donut Lifts. On the other side of this room you have four possible paths to take. Do not take the bottom-most-path. It will lead you right back to the beginning. The top most path is the best and easiest. Dodge the laser shooting Bowser Statues by jumping over them this time. Use to Donut Lifts to make your way across the lava while avoiding fireballs. The door on the far right will lead you to Bowser.

Bowser

If you can manage to make it here with either the Hammer Bros Suit or Flower Power, you can defeat Bowser by hitting him with five hammers or thirty fireballs. If not, you need to make him kill himself. Bowser will leap into the air and land wherever Mario is, breaking the bricks below him. You have to be quick and get him to smash a hole through the platform. Do this and you have beaten Super Mario Bros 3. you can kill bowser by playin every where he will crazy then suicide
