Overview/Strategies
Toon Link pretty much plays the same as his Young Link counterpart did in Melee, except with a few added features from Wind Waker. For being such a light character he doesn't move particularly fast, and his lack of weight means he's definitely on the floaty side, leaving him open to attacks while in the air. Toon Link is best played as a projectile fighter, and he's got plenty at his disposal, including his bow, bomb, and boomerang attacks. His hand-to-hand combat is no slouch either; it's strong and quick, and his Smash Attacks offer a lot of knockback. Like Samus, if you miss with his grab you'll be a sitting duck for a couple seconds, so make sure that hookshot makes contact if you're going to use it!
