Overview/Strategies
Bowser, besides being Mario's longtime nemesis since the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES, is also the heaviest fighter in the Smash Bros. canon. As such, he moves quite slowly, but his attacks deal a considerable amount of damage (much more than, say, someone like Meta Knight). His Flying Slam move is great for catching opponents midair and bashing them against the ground, and his Whirling Fortress ability is great for both recovery and nailing any opponent directly overhead. Quicker characters like Captain Falcon and Zero Suit Samus can give him a lot of trouble since they can run rings around him without him being able to keep up, but a high-offense approach to Bowser should be able to keep him from being overwhelmed by the speedier opponents.

Hints
- Home-run Contest
- Bowser is a great choice for the Homerun Derby. Use his side-a attacks on the bag, which should come back to you every time, until the time reaches 3 seconds. Grab the bat hit the bag once and at 1 second smash it as hard as you can. You should be able to reach the 1,500 mark and unlock the Challenge.
