Supreme Commander is a real-time strategy game where players control hundreds of advanced fighting robots in an attempt to win control of planets. Players must use their resources wisely and strike a balance between combat and production units.
The game has three different factions, each with their own campaign. It also has a multiplayer mode which allows players to battle against each other.
The key to wining either of these game modes is knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the game's units. Each faction's units are slightly different, but they all use the same types of units and technology tiers.
The Xbox 360 version of the game is a port of the PC version. It has a new user interface designed to allow complex unit management with a console controller input.
