Sections

There have been a lot of changes to the various sub pages, so I figured we'd all sit down and decide what pages we all want. Here's what I think we should have:

  • Walkthrough: All the main story missions in the game, and the game's plot
  • Cheats: We should only have this page if we actually have cheats to put on it.
  • Quick Strategies: a list of short tips (that aren't mission specific)
  • Side Missions: Past GTA games have side missions for extra money that don't advance the plot
  • Characters: There are going to be a lot of characters in this game, and sometimes keeping them straight requires a list with descriptions
  • Secrets: locations of secrets items, like balloons in past GTA games
  • City Maps: maps of liberty city
  • Multiplayer: anything and everything about multiplayer
  • Achievements: Xbox 360 achievements and descriptions
  • Liberty City: general info about Liberty City: radio stations, entertainment, in-game TV shows, etc.

I took out the "Special Edition Features" link because the various special editions retailers are putting together have the same game, just extra stuff (bags, boxes, books) that comes with it. There aren't any features in the game that are different. -- Rob

DLC section? Its kind of early, but DLC for GTA4 is supposedly going to be pretty massive. Might be worth getting a page setup and ready for their eventual release. Malovane

I figure we can add a DLC section when some DLC comes out. -- Rob

Secrets and Map Points

The Secrets page and the Map Points page and the Maps page seem redundant. I think they should all be combined. -- Rob

Vehicles section?

Mustn't there be a Vehicles section? I mean, we have almost everything, except one of the most important things in GTA IV: cars! Or is that not original anymore? » Google 'gta iv vehicles' search «

If my suggestion is accepted, then I have some things already, that can be placed on the page.

  • Vehicle (Car/Boat/Heli)
  • Name of the vehicle (for cars: including the brand, like: Karin/Declasse/Imponte etc.)
  • Type of vehicle (SUV/Police/Taxi)
  • Which real car the vehicle is based on
  • Maximum speed (approximately/average)
  • Number of seats
  • Where to find

I think a vehicles section would be great. We could call it Grand Theft Auto IV - PS3 XB360/Vehicles. As far as the stats go, I think we should also include "Traction" (how well a car can turn without spinning out) and "Weight" (how high it can jump at a given speed). We need someone with a PCtv/capture card then, so that we can make screens. We can't use screens from another site because of the rights (and off course originality).

BTW, I can't add a Vehicles section, because if I click on Edit (on the main page of GTA IV) I get index.php to download.. And that goes the sme with Internet Explorer (I'm using FF).
