Magic Armor
The Magic Armor makes Link invincible while he wears it, though it comes at the cost of your Rupees; the armor constantly drains your money whenever it's equipped! To obtain it, head to the Goron soliciting donations inside Malo's shop in Kakariko village and hand over 1,000 Rupees over the course of the game (or right away, if you have the dough). After that, the Goron will request funds for a shop in Castle Town. You can either pay him 2,000 Rupees, or reduce the cost to 200 Rupees by completing the task for the Goron Elder outside the shop (see Heart Piece 45 in the Heart Pieces guide). Either way, when the second donation has been paid off, go see Malo and buy the Magic Armor for 598 Rupees.
