Wii Play comes with a wii-mote controller and includes nine interactive games which make use of the "miis" and can be played by one or two players. In one-player mode, one strives to beat one's own records and receive bronze, silver, gold and platinum metals. In two-player mode, the players compete each other and try to win as many games as possible.
- Shooting range: Shoot various items such as ducks, balloons, targets, clay, cans and UFOs.
- Find mii: Complete various objectives that involve finding specific miis within a crowd.
- Table tennis: Use the wii-mote's movement to control the paddle and rally the ball.
- Pose mii: Move the miis into various poses and complete as many levels as possible.
- Laser hockey: Twist and aim the wii-mote to control the paddle and beat your opponent.
- Billiards: Incorporates the wii-mote into a game of pool.
- Fishing: Aim to catch various fish in the pond and gain as many points as possible.
- Charge: Ride on a cow as you knock down scarecrows and avoid obstacles.
- Tanks: Fire shells and drop mines on enemy tanks to make it through as many levels as possible before getting blown up. Optional use of nunchuk.
