Banner of the Stonemaul

  • Questgiver: Brogg in Mudsprocket, Dustwallow Marsh
  • Objective: Retrieve the Stonemaul Banner and bring it to Brogg at Mudsprocket.
  • XP: 4150
  • Reward: 45 silver


Challenge to the Black Fight

  • Objectives: Plant the Stonemaul Banner near the entrance to Onyxia's Lair, then return to Brogg at Mudsprocket.
  • XP: 5700
  • Rewards: 1 gold 10 silver and choice of:
    • Oversized Stonemaul Hood (head, cloth, green, 43 armor, +12 intellect, +8 spirit)
    • Brogg's Battle Harness (chest, leather, green, 110 armor, +12 agility, +8 stamina)
    • Refitted Bruiser Gauntlets (hands, plate, green, 166 armor, +5 strength, +10 stamina)

The banner must be placed at the entrance to Onyxia's Lair, east of Mudsprocket. The banner is placed at the edge of the entrance, near the dirt. When the banner is placed, you'll be attacked by Smolderwing, a non-elite dragon.
