No area of Azeroth has been more changed more by the plague than the Eastern Plaguelands. Here the most twisted (and highest level) creatures roam; not even the roads are safe.

The Eastern Plaguelands are sometimes called "EPL" in the in-game chat.

Transportation

The Eastern Plaguelands connects on land only to the Western Plaguelands. Most players take the road, but up river the Terrorweb Tunnel connects the two areas. This cave is not a popular means of transportation because it is filled with hostile spiders.

There are two flightmasters in Light's Hope Chapel, one for each faction.

PvP

The Eastern Plaguelands has four towers, control of them is constantly changing between Horde and Alliance. Players take control of the towers by being near or inside of them while they are flagged for PvP.

On some servers, players have come to an unwritten agreement of sorts. Players of one faction will allow the opposing faction to take a tower uncontested. In return, players of that faction leave it unguarded once they have taken it. This arrangement allows both factions to complete the tower quests with a minimum of fighting.
