Timbermaw Hold

The road through Felwood runs north until it disappears into Timbermaw Hold.

In order to access Winterspring, characters must travel from Felwood through Timbermaw Hold. Timbermaw Hold is a long cave filled with hostile Furblog. Characters could fight their way through, but a wiser option is to gain a positive reputation with the Furblog. Players start with a "Hostle" reputation, and must work up to at least "Unfriendly" to pass through the cave unhindered. This requires a 500 reputation increase, as players start with a 2500/3000 "Hostile" rating. Rising to "Unfriendly" can be accomplished with the Timbermaw Ally quest. You can also increase your reputation by performing quests for Nafien, a Furblog standing just outside the tunnel on the Felwood side. Finally, you can farm reputation by killing Deadwood Furblogs (+10 rep each).
