World of Warcraft/First Aid
From WikiCheats
First Aid is a secondary profession in World of Warcraft. Like the other secondary profession (cooking), it does not count against your two profession limit.
First aid uses various types of cloth to create bandages. Using these bandages produces a quick heal over time effect. Bandages can be used in or out of combat to heal your character or other players. Using bandages is a channeled activity, and taking any damage will interrupt the effect. Bandages also have a cooldown, so each character can only be bandaged every one minute.
Bandages can be made from the following types of cloth:
- Linen
- Wool
- Silk
- Mageweave
- Runecloth
- Netherweave
Expert level first aid is learned by purchasing a training manual found in Stromgarde Keep for the Alliance and in Dustwallow Marsh for the Horde. Players who don't want to travel to these areas can usually buy the manual in the Auction House, but will have to pay a premium for it.
Artisan level is gained by completing the Triage quest in either Theramore for the Alliance or Hammerfall for the Horde.
Master level is gained by another training manual found sold in either Temple of Telhamat for Alliance or Falcon Watch for the Horde.
