In Search of Knowledge

  • Questgiver: Troyas Moonbreeze in Feathermoon Stronghold, Feralas
  • Faction: Alliance
  • Objective: Talk to Daryn Lightwind in Rut'theran Village, Darnasssus.
  • XP: 600
  • Rep: +25 with Darnassus

After turning in this quest, go to the back of the building (still on the second floor) and pick up a book on the floor titled "Feralas: A History." This book starts the next quest in the chain.

Feralas: A History

  • Questgiver: a book in Rut'theran Village
  • Turn in to Daryn Lightwind, in the same building you found the book
  • XP: 600
  • Rep: +25 with Darnassus

The Borrower

  • Objective: Take the letter to Curgle Cranklehop in Tanaris.
  • XP: 1550

Gurgle is located in Gadgetzan, near the north gate.

The Super Snapper FX

  • Objective: Use the Super Snapper FX to take a snapshot of Gammerita, then return to Daryn Lightwind in Rut'theran Village.
  • XP: 6300
  • Rep: +250 with Darassus

Gammerita is located in The Hinterlands, on the beach near the Overlook Cliffs. She roams the beach between Revantusk Village and the river to the north. She is a level 48 turtle. The other turtles on the beach are non-aggressive, but Gammerita herself is. You do not need to defeat her, only take a photo of her.

This quest is done in the same place as Whiskey Slim's Lost Grog and the two quests can be done at the same time.

Return to Troyas

  • Objective: Deliver the book to Troyas Moonbreeze in Feathermoon Stronghold.
  • XP: 4700
  • Rep: +150 with Darnassus

The Stave of Equinex

  • Objective: Energize Troyas' Stave and find the Equinex Monolith
  • Rewards: A sparkling Stone. This stone is turned in for items later in the chain.
  • XP: 6800
  • Rep: +250 with Darnassus

The flames and the monolith are located northeast of the Twin Colossals.

  • Flame of Imbel: 40,09
  • Flame of Byltan: 37,12
  • Flame of Samha: 41, 12 (located on top of the ruin)
  • Flame of Lahassa:

The monument is also located in this area. The enemies here are harpies level 48-49.


The Morrow Stone

  • Questgiver: The Equinex Monolith
  • Objective: Return the Sparkling Stone and the Stave of Equinex to Troyas Moonbreeze in Feathermoon Stronghold.
  • Rewards: choice of:
    • Cairnstone Sliver: (wand, green, 52-97 arcane damage, speed 1.80, 41.4 DPS)
    • Seedtime Hoop: (finger, green, +4 Strength, +10 Spirit)
  • XP: 6800
  • Rep: +250 with Darnassus
