Passing the Burden

  • Faction: Alliance
  • Questgiver: Historian Karnik in the Library of Ironforge
  • Objective: Speak to Tymor in Ironforge
  • XP: 725

Tymor is in the Hall of Mysteries (aka the Mystic Ward). This unlocks the next two quests.


Arcane Ruins

  • Questgiver: Tymor
  • Objectives: Using the Drawing Kit, make rubbings of the Rune of Beth'Amara, the Rune of Jin'yael, The Rune of Markri, and the Rune of Sael'hai before heading to the small island off of the southern peninsula of Azshara and signaling Pilot Xiggs Fuselighter to pick them up.

An Easy Pickup

  • Objective: Speak to Xiggs Fuselighter in Ironforge.
  • XP: 725

Xiggs is in the Military Ward, in the Hall of Arms.


Signal for Pickup

  • Objectives: Speak to Xiggs Fuselighter and get a Standard Issue Flare Gun from him in Ironforge.
  • XP: 725

This quest is deceptively simple. All you have to do is speak to Xiggs again.
