  • Region: Feralas
  • Faction: Both
  • Questgiver: The 00X-22/FE distress beacon, which drops randomly off mobs in Feralas.
  • XP: 5550
  • Rep: +250 with Booty Bay, -250 with Bloodsail Buccaneers
  • Objectives: Take the distress beacon to Oglethorpe's homing robot in a cave near Feral Scar Vale.

The robot is located in the open Feral Scar Vale. Go through the first cave to an open area, and you will find the robot (53, 55).

Rescue 00X-22/FE!

  • Objectives: Escort 00X-22FE to the dock along the Forgotten Coast, then report to Oglethorpe Obnoticus in Booty Bay.
  • XP: 6900
  • Rep: +350 with Booty Bay, -350 with Bloodsail Buccaneers
  • Rewards: choice of:
    • Failed Flying Experiment (shoulder, leather, green, 96 armor, +10 strenth, +10 agility)
    • Chainlink Towel (back, 31 armor, +3 Intellect, +10 spirit, "Now even less absorbant!")

While escorting the chicken robot, you'll be attacked by three level 43 Groddoc Apes. Farther along the road you'll encounter four level 42 Woodpaw Gnolls.
