World of Warcraft/Shadikith the Glider

Karazahn Boss This article is about a boss in the World of Warcraft raid instance Karazhan.

Shadikith the Glider Shadikith is the bat miniboss of Karazhan found in the Servant's Quarters.

Shadikith is a little more complicated then a standard tank and spank fight. First, the raid should be aware of the aoe silence. Casters should spread out and stay away from Shad. Additionally, Shad has an aoe knockback that will hit all melee for around 2k. Its a random cast, so there isn't much melee can do to avoid it.

Dps should be aware that Shad has a wing buffet ability. Just as in BWL, this ability is a threat reducer. Dps should take extra care on their threat since the MT will be getting hit with the buffet often.

Lastly, Shad has charge that will target the player farthest away. It is a particularly strong attack, hitting for 5k on cloth. Higher on crushing blows and crits. Its generally recommended that an OT be standing farthest away in order to soak the charge and pick up Shad after the charge.

Shadikith will drop a randomly enchanted pair of epic boots. The boots can be of any of the armor types: cloth, leather, mail, or plate.
