A World of Warcraft Quest


This quest takes place in Stranglethorn Vale.

The pages of the book are not soulbound and can be purchased at the auction house. This is a popular quest for characters with money or tinks, because it allow them to (basicly) buy nearly 11,000 xp.

The Green Hills of Stranglethorn

The Green Hills of Stranglethorn
Faction: Both Level Range:
Starts: at Nestingway Safari Camp Turn in to:
Prerequisite: None Leads to: The Green Hills of Stranglethorn (bonus)
Monetary Reward: Gold, Silver, Copper Experence Points: 1100 each, for a total of 4400
Item Reward: Thick armor kit (increases armor of a chest, leg, hand, or foot item by 32)
  • Jungle Boots (plate, green, 182 armor, +7 strength, +4 stamina)
  • Superior Healing Potion x3 (restores 700 to 900 health, requires level 35)
Objective: Recover the lost pages of the book The Green Hills of Stranglethorn
Other Information: There are four chapters of the book, and each chapter is treated as a separate quest.

The pages needed for each chapter are:

  1. 1, 4, 6, 8
  2. 10, 11, 14, 16
  3. 18, 20, 21, 24
  4. 25, 26, 27

The pages drop off of almost every humanoid in Stranglethorn Vale. Players do not need the quest to find pages, so it is possible to collect all the pages, then accept the quest. It is also possible to purchase any (or all) of the pages at the auction house.

The pages each take a separate bag slot, so be sure you have adequate space in your bags or in the bank.

Prerequisite: The Green Hills of Stranglethorn Leads to: None
Monetary Reward: Gold, Silver, Copper Experence Points: 6550
Item Reward: All of the following: Jungle Boots (plate 182 armor, 7 strength, 4 stamina), thick armor kit, superior healing potion
Objective: Complete all four chapters of The Green Hills of Stranglethorn
Other Information: This is a bonus quest, all you have to do to finish it is turn in all four The Green Hills of Stranglethorn quests you you will automatically complete this one.
