The Key to Freedom

  • Region: Searing Gorge
  • Questgiver: Grimesilt Outhouse Key, a random drop item
  • Faction: Both
  • XP: 7550
  • Objective: Search Searing Gorge and find a use for the Grimesilt Outhouse Key you have found.

The outhouse is located in the Grimesilt Dig Site (65, 62) in the southeast corner of the Searing Gorge.

Caught!

  • Obective: Kill 8 Dark Iron Geologists and bring 15 pieces of Silk Cloth to the person locked in the outhouse in Searing Gorge.
  • XP: 5550

The Geologists are located just east of the outhouse. Silk cloth drops off some of the mobs in the Searing Gorge, or you can buy it from other players or the auction house.


Ledger from Tanaris

  • Objectives: Take the copy of Goodsteel's Ledger and then find the items listed in it before seeking Krinkle Goodsteel in Tanaris.
  • Reward: choice of:
    • Charged Lightning Rod (wand, green, 39-73 nature damage, speed 1.50, 37.3 DPS)
    • Girdle of Reprisal (waist, mail, green, 143 armor, +12 strength, Equip: When struck in combat has a 1% chance of inflicting 75 to 125 Shadow damage to the attacker)
