A World of Warcraft Quest

This chain is usually one of the first Alliance characters take after entering Outlands. The chain is somewhat long, but the rewards are excellent.

The Legion Reborn

• Region: Hellfire Peninsula
• Questgiver: Force Commander Danath Trollbane in Honor Hold
• Faction: Alliance
• Objective: Speak with Sergeant Altums at the East Supply Caravan just outside of Honor Hold, to the east.
• XP: 975
• Rep: +250 with Honor Hold

The Path of Anguish

• Objectives: Sergeant Altumus at the East Supply Caravan east of Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula wants you to kill 4 Flamewaker Imps, 6 Infernal Warbringers, and 1 Dreadcaller.
• XP: 9800
• Rep: +250 with Honor Hold
• Reward: choice of:
  • Rage Reaver (Two-Hand Axe, green, 167-251 Damage, speed 3.60, 58.1 DPS, +19 agility, +30 stamina, Equip: Increases attack power by 38)
  • Screaming Dagger (dagger, green, 56-105 damage, speed 1.80, 44.7 DPS, +7 agility, +12 stamina, Equip: Increases attack power by 16.)
  • The Staff of Twin Worlds (staff, green, 146-226 damage, speed 3.40, 54.8 DPS, +21 Stamina, +19 Intellect, +13 Spirit, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 35)
  • Agamaggan's Quill (staff, green, 146-226 damage, speed 3.40, 54.8 DPS, +19 strength, +19 agility, +30 stamana, Equip: Increases attack power by 46 in Cat, Bear, Dire Bear, and Moonkin forms only.)
  • Foe Reaver (One hand sword, green, 81-151 damage, speed 2.60, 44.6 DPS, +8 strength, +7 agility, +12 stamina)

Expedition Point

• Objective: Report to Forward Commander Kingston at Expedition Point
• XP: 975
• Rep: +10 with Honor Hold

Disrupt Their Reinforcements

• Questgiver: Forward Commander Kingston
• Objective: Defeat enemies around Portal Grimh and Portal Kaalez to gather Demonic Rune Stones.
• Reward: choice of:
  • Shadowbrim Travel Hat (head, cloth, green, 83 armor, +19 stamina, +19 intellect, +12 spirit, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23.)
  • Flayer-Hide Leggings (legs, leather, green, 172 armor, +19 agility, +30 stamina, Equip: Increases attack power by 38.)
  • Arcane Ringed Tunic (chest, mail, green, 427 armor, +19 stamina, +19 intellect, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23, Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.)
  • Invader's Greathelm (head, plate, green, 616 armor, +19 strength, +19 agility, +30 stamina)
  • Fire Scarred Breastplate (chest, plate, green, 758 armor, +13 strength, +19 stamina, +19 intellect, Equip: increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 16, Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.)

Mission: The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways

• Objective: Speak with Wing Commander Dabir'ee, bomb Gateway Murketh and Gateway Shaadraz and then return to Forward Commander Kingston at Expedition Point.

• Rep: +350 with Honor Hold
• Rewards: choice of:
  • Battle Scarred Leggings (legs, mail, green, 373 armor, +19 agility, +30 stamina, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 38.)
  • Helm of Infinite Visions (head, plate, green, 616 armor, +19 intellect, +19 Stamina, +13 Strength, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 16. Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.)
  • Raging Spirit Harness (chest, leather, green, 197 armor, +19 intellect, +19 stamina, +12 spirit, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23).
  • Protectorate Breastplate (chest, plate, green, 758 armor, +19 agility, +30 stamina, +19 strength)

Wing Commander Dabir'ee is just a few feet away, next to the gryphons. He will put you an a gryphon that will fly over the gates. Throw the bombs at the gates to destroy them. This quest his quite easy and takes only a few minutes.

Shatter Point

• Objective: Forward Commander Kingston wants you to speak with Wing Commander Dabir'ee, ride a gryphon to Shatter Point, and then report to Runetog Wildhammer.
• XP: 950

Wing Commander Gryphongar

• Objective: Speak to Wing Commander Gryphongar in the tower nearby.
• XP: 950

Mission: The Abyssal Shelf

• Objective: Wing Commander Gryphongar at Shatter Point in Hellfire Peninsula has asked that you destroy 20 Gan'arg Peons, 5 Mo'arg Overseers and 5 Fel Cannons.
• XP: 10050
• Rep: +250 with Honor Hold
• Rewards: choice of:
  • Whispering Tunic (chest, cloth, green, 102 armor, +19 intellect, +19 stamina, +12 spirit, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23)
  • Veteran's Skullcap (head, leather, green, 160 armor, +19 agility, +30 stamina, Equip: increases attack power by 38.)
  • Arcane Ringed Greaves (legs, mail, green, 373 armor, +19 intellect, +19 stamina, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23. Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.)
  • Skyfire Greaves (legs, plate, green, 664 armor, +19 intellect, +19 stamina, +13 strength, Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 16, Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.)

Speak to Gryphoneer Windbellow, who will put you on a gryphon. This mission is similar to The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways you did earlier in the chain. If you don't destroy the required number of enemies you can simply ride again.

If you enjoyed this quest, you repeat it as many times as you like as the quest "Return to the Abyssal Shelf." You do not receive any reward for subsequent trips.

Go to the Front

• Objective: Take a gryphon to Honor Point and speak with Field Marshal Brock
• XP: 975
• Rep: +25 with Honor Hold

Disruption - Forge Camp: Mageddon

• Objectives: Kill 10 Gan'arg Servants and Razorsaw at Forge Camp Mageddon and return to Forward Commander Brock at Honor Point.
• Reward: 2 gold
• XP: 9800
• Honor Hold: +250 with Honor Hold

Forge Camp Mageddon is directly west of Honor Point. Razorsaw is a level 62 non-elite that patrols the camp.

Enemy of my Enemy

• Objective: Destroy 3 Fel Cannon MK1s in Forge Camp Rage and return to Field Marshal Brock at Honor Point.
• XP: 9800
• Reward: 2 gold

Rep: +250 with Honor Hold

Forge Camp Rage is located to the west of Forge Camp Mageddon. Destroying cannons in Forge Camp Mageddon will count toward this quest.

Invasion Point: Annihilator

• Objectives: Slay Arix'Amal. Take the Burning Legion Gate Key. Use the Burning Legion Gate Key on the Rune of Spite.
• XP: 9800
• Rep: +250 with Honor Hold
• Reward: 2 gold

Arix'Amal is a level 62 demon on the northwest side of Forge Camp Rage. He drops an item called "Buring Legion Missive" which starts the quest The Dark Missive. He also drops the burning legion key. Take this key and walk into the gate, then click on the gate.
