World of Warcraft/The Missing Diplomat

The Missing Diplomat is a long quest chain that covers four regions (Stormwind, Duskwood, The Wetlands, and Dustwallow Marsh). Many of the quests require simply speaking to someone.

Part 1

Region: Stormwind
Questgiver: Thomas, in the Cathedral of Light, Cathedral District
Objective: Speak with Bishop DeLavey, in Stormwind Keep
XP: 230

Stormwind Keep is on the east side of the city.

Part 2

Objective: Speak with Jorgen the fisherman. He's in the Valley of Heroes, near the front entrance of Stormwind.

Part 3

Objective: Speak with Elling Trias, in the cheese shop in the Trade Quarter of Stormwind.

Part 4

Objective: Speak with Watcher Backus in the town of Darkshire in Duskwood.

Part 5

Objective: Go to Addle's Stead on the west side of Duskwood. Get a letter from the chest there and return it to Backus.

Part 6

Objective: Return to Elling Trias in the cheese shop in Stormwind.

Part 7

Objective: Speak with Dashel Stonefist in Old Town. He is in the courtyard in the center of Old Town.

Part 8

When you speak to Stonefist, he attacks you. He also summons two friends to help him. Defeat Stonefist to complete the quest. If you have trouble defeating him, there is usually someone in Stormwind who will help you out if you ask nicely.

Part 9

Speak to Stonefist to get the necessary information, then return to Trias in the cheese shop.

Part 10

Go to Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands and speak with Mikhail in the inn.

Part 11

Mikhail will begin speaking to you, but a man named Slim tries to run out of the bar. You must chase him down and defeat him, and one of his friends.

Part 12

Speak to Mikhail in the inn.

Part 13

Go to Theramore in Dustwallow Marsh and speak to Commander Samaul. The boat on the left pier of Menethil Harbor will take you to Theramore.

Part 14

Speak with Archmage Tervosh in the tower at Sentry Point. Sentry Point is located along the only road leaving Theramore.

Part 15

Find Private Hendel. He is further along the road, just past the next tower in the a small camp.

Part 16

When you speak with Hendel he attacks, and two soldiers come to his aid. You must defeat Hendel.

Part 17

Lady Proudmore appears. Speak to her to finish the quest chain.
