Deep within the Slag Pit of the Cauldron, in the Searing Gorge, you will find the tratiorous Dark Iron dwarf named Overseer Maltorius. Slay Overseer Maltorius and take his head. Return the head to Lookout Captian Lolo Longstriker in the Searing Gorge for your reward.
  • Rewards: choice of:
    • Seared Mail Vest (chest, mail, green, 273 armor, +11 agility, +11 stamina, +11 intellect)
    • Charred Leather Tunic (chest, leather, green, 132 armor, +18 agility, +8 stamina)


This quest can be done in conjunction with What the Flux?. The plans it calls for are located next to Maltorius.
