Transportation
The only flightpath into or out of the Western Plaguelands is in the Alliance camp at Chillwind Point.
The area can easily be reached on foot from the Eastern Plaguelands by all characters. Horde players can pass west through the Bulwark into Tirisfal Glades. Alliance players can enter the Western Plaguelands from the Hillsbrad Foothills through Chillwind point. Either side can cross through the opposing faction camp, so long as they are careful not to get too close to the elite NPCs in each area.
There is also a pass through the mountains that starts from the lake shore southwest of Caer Darrow and goes to the Hinterlands.
Finally, there is the spider infested Terrorweb Tunnel that begins in the northeast corner of the Western Plaguelands and goes to the Eastern Plaguelands.
Towns and Settlements
Chillwind Camp
Chillwind Camp is a small group of Argent Dawn defenders attempting to fight the undead of the Plaguelands. There are numerous questgivers with plenty of tasks for adventurers.
The camp is sometimes the subject of Horde attacks; the Horde version of the quest The Last Barov requires killing a PvP NPC in the camp.
The Bulwark
The Bulwark is actually located in Tirisfal Glades, on the western border of the Plaguelands. Because of its proximity, it is often used as a safe haven for horde characters adventuring in the Western Plaguelands.
