A World of Warcraft Quest

Zapped Giants

  • Region: Feralas
  • Questgiver: Zorbin Fandazzle on the Forgotten Coast, next to the dock.
  • Faction: Both
  • XP: 6300
  • Rep: +350 with Steamwheedle Cartel
  • Objective: Use Zorbin's Ultra-Shrinker to zap any kind of gaint found in Feralas into a more manageable form. Bring 15 Miniaturization Residues found on the zapped versions of these giants to Zorbin Fandazzle at the docks of the Forgotten Coast, Feralas.
  • Reward: 70 silver and Zorbin's Mega-Slicer (one-hand sword, green, 46-86 damage, speed: 2.30, 28.7 DPS, +6 Agility, +5 Stamina)
  • Enemy Levels: 47-49 (elite, then shrunken to regular mobs)

The most convenient giants are located up and down the coast. The zapper turns them from elite giants to regular enemies. Fuel for the Zapping calls for water elemental cores, which are found in the same area.

Again With the Zapped Giants

This quest is repeatable. It is used by players to build up reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel. If you're adventuring along the coast it's a good idea to have this quest just so you can have the zapper. Should you aggo a giant, you can zap instead of having to deal with an elite.
