Introduction of "Hero" Classes

Death Knight

Death Knight will be the first of the new hero classes. These classes are to be based around specific Warcraft lore.

Abilities

Death knights will use a rune system instead of rage/mana/energy. This system seems to be a slightly more robust form of energy. Death knights have access to 6 runes that can be any combination of 3 rune types: unholy, blood, and frost. These runes are drained when the DK uses abilities and spells. The runes then regenerate over time.

New Profession

Inscription

This new profession will provide a way to augment class spells and abilities. It will function somewhat similarly to enchanting by providing a permanent buff to the player.
